Join us each month to discuss watershed issues, learn about current research, or screen movies!

This month we have changed our usual meeting date to October 25th in order to bring you a very special presentation:

Bats of the Gila Valley!

Bat biologists from Arizona Game and Fish Department will provide the public with an opportunity to get up close and personal with these mysterious creatures of the night through a humane live-trapping/release technique, while discussing the importance of bats for maintaining balance in natural systems.

The location and exact time will be posted shortly – stay tuned!

We always welcome volunteers to the Gila Native Plant Nursery at EAC’s Discovery Park Campus.  Contact Taylor Brienholt at for more information.
