Come help clean our waterways!
The next upcoming San Francisco River Clean Up is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2020. Unlike the last modified dispersed clean up, this event will look more like our traditional clean ups.
Check in will begin at 8 AM at the Riverside Park in Clifton, and will be modified so that attendees can stay in their vehicles to get signed in and receive directions. Staff will be stationed at each target area to give further instructions and a safety briefing. The clean up will wrap up at noon and a sack lunch from Clifton Hotel will be provided!
Please RSVP here or by calling Kara at (928) 424-3886 so that we can order a lunch for everyone. For questions, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
In partnership with SEACAB, ADEQ, Town of Clifton, Freeport-McMoRan and Friends of the Frisco.
Gila Native Plant Nursery: VIRTUAL Fall Plant Sale
September 14 – October 16, 2020

Landscape your yard with native plants!
In continued response to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Gila Watershed Partnership is again holding a virtual plant sale in lieu of its fall plant sale event, from September 14-October 16, 2020.
In the Upper Gila Watershed, we are blessed with relatively mild weather most of the year. So even though you may have missed an opportunity to plant during this past Spring or it’s just too hot to think of digging a hole with the Summer heat, your best season to add specimens to the garden or plant a new native pollinator garden is yet to come!
Those hoping to purchase native, pollinator friendly and drought-tolerant plants can order online and then pick up their plants between 8:00 am – 4:00 pm every Friday between September 14 – October 16.
We’ll have several plant varieties that we haven’t offered before, so check out our website and see what’s new! More information
For more information, contact: Steve Plath at (928) 424-3886 or email: email@example.com or Julie Davis at (928) 424-3886 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
All proceeds from plant sales help support the Gila Watershed Partnership’s work to improve water quality, availability, and watershed habitat in Graham and Greenlee Counties.
